I am just reading this thread for the first time today, and I presume that there has been no good news. I didn't know Kawika of course, but a Google search quickly found his website. If you haven't had a look, you should. It speaks volumes about this man. Apart from the beautiful images, his words express what many of us already know.

My thoughts are with his family and friends...

Really sad, the search has been called off.

Sad to say no real change other than some basic information that the newspaper in Eureka compiled from friends. There have been some discussions of a memorial but we'll post details if we get them. http://www.eurekareporter.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?ArticleID=22093

Much love to his friends and his family, we are all struggling to accept this great loss.
Any other coworkers seeking info feel free to PM me we'll keep you in the loop.

Ah, this just sucks.

I don't know the man but I feel like a part of all of us is lost with him. Let's try to keep as much of us alive as we can.

Perhaps one of y'all who knew the man would like to start a condeolences thread on the new forum: Passings http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=494

MOD POST

Please post all prayers, condolences, etc. here
