Same here. It always seems to hit harder when the incident is local. Hopefully he's OK on the surface, and is keeping his wits about him. Fingers crossed.

Ah, this just sucks.

I don't know the man but I feel like a part of all of us is lost with him. Let's try to keep as much of us alive as we can.

Truly a grievous loss. The man was an artist whose work I have enjoyed many times, and I had hoped to meet him someday.
