Does anyone know of a website were I can download the accepted diver handsignals? My PADI book has some but I have to believe there are a bunch of useful signals I never use. I was about to buy a pocket reference book until I noticed it was 15 bucks! Wowzers! Thats a lot of sea shells.

thanks

Grouper or Groper-

"Reg out of mouth, mouth opened and closed "

"Suggestive groping movements in the breast area"

something tells me doing either one of these things could get you in trouble :-)

personally... i just tend to point at the fish with my index finger; call me crazy.

LOL! If one of my buddies did that, my first thought might be that they were having a hit of narcosis

My girlfriend Jill is starting her OW class tonight, and she was asking if I'd be interested in learning ASL with her so we'd be able to talk underwater.

If I'm going to bother learning an extensive hand signal vocabulary beyond the basics that every diver should know, that seems to me like a good way to go.

Try www.Seasigns.com
UW sign language based on ASL. but narrowed to the diver's vocabulary.
