Anyone here anything about a diver found in the Hudson in the last few days? Happened within the past few days, and I think he was alone. Other than that I haven't heard any details.

But it's February, a time of year in the Northeast when only members of the Polar Bear Club - or actual polar bears - are likely to venture into the water.
A diver news reporter actually wrote that.

Thanks, I did a little search myself, but couldn't find anything.

What about the next line?
That's the mystery that federal and local investigators were still trying to solve yesterday afternoon.
And these agencies are suppossed to be protecting us!? Yet they can't even figure out, how someone in this area wound up in the water this time of year! Just go to any dive shop and they'll tell them "He was diving, duh!" They're probably amazed at the strange high tech wetsuit he had on too, which had these strange valves and kept the body dry!

This is so sad!!! Wonder how long he'd been there!! I know they've had cases here where a body floated up from a wreck that happened 100years ago and the body looked 'fresh'!!

I am glad it was NOT DutchFin. He was asking a while back about diving in the Hudson river.

Appreciate your concern Bill. Still down here in fla. Low 40's tonight, so I'm not missing all the cold weather, just the snow !! Planning on being up there for Beneath the Sea, so I'm sure I'll see a bunch of you guys there. Sad situation that Huson River thing.

I was in the Pensacola area the last two weeks. Weather was OK, but not Florida like. It will be 60 degrees here in Philly on Sunday. Glad you are safe. Hurry back up North and enjoy some real diving. BTW, I saw a large billboard on I-10 asking for donation for the aircraft carrier slated to be (possibly) sunk off Pensacola.
