Diver Death in Los Angeles- Point Fermin?

I just saw on the news a diver died off of Angels Gate, about 3 miles outside of the LA harbor. Does anybody have any info on this? They were reported to have been diving on a wreck there.

I've heard 4 divers went down and only 3 returned. Last report I had was they were still looking for the 4th diver.

Sounds about right in 100 feet.
There are other wrecks there too (Moody etc.) but Olympic is at 100

He was apperantly diving a rebreather. They have recovered the body, it was wedged under the Olympic by what I just heard.

I want to know what the hell the guy's buddy (or buddies) was doing surfacing without him. Wreck diving is NOT a solo activity.

Edit: Looks like he may have been an instructor with students? Still no excuse. Had someone been with him, even a student, at least they could have told the rescuers where to look.
