Wow, LK. YOU don't have your facts straight. Seaduction is in Pattaya.

Oops.

What has seaduction got to do with what I have said? I know full well where there shop is and I must say it is much better than yours. Yet again you are just talking crap. I have never dived with this shop so am not going to pass comment on them. Therefore I have no facts to get straight or distorted.
Speaking of distorted facts I suggest you look back at some of your posts in the not too distant past.
Can I suggest you just stick to using this forum as a sales pitch, to try and pick up what business you can, because judging by the way you treated me as a customer, I cant see you getting too much repeat business.
Again I trust it will not be me that is accused of hijacking the thread.

Penguintom, I am not going to rake up the past but there are a number of posts on this forum relating to Aquanauts and a day they provided me with a few years ago, feel free to dig them out and see for yourself, but the day was full of serious safety issues and they just didn't provide what they sold to their customers.
Use this shop at your peril. However badly they treat you and whatever they provide they operate a strict policy of no refunds. Once they have received your commitment things will change.
I have today seen on the internet that real divers in jomtien actualy do internship courses on a pay as you go basis, this seems to me a much fairer way, maybe this would be worth your consideration. I dont know much about them but I do know that they have some of the most experienced instructors in Pattaya.

oooh touchy, touchy. Not getting enough fiber?

You commented on the shop Limbo linked to, saying it was in Samui. He linked to Seaduction.

Quite a few DC's offer a pay as you go internship.

I highly recommend this option as it could be awful if you land up paying the full course fees up front only to land up doing your courses with people you do not like nor have any respect for. Unfortunately I have seen quite a few students trying to reach Pro level under such unfortunate/unpleasant circumstances.

Take each step at a time and see where your preferences will lead you.

Good luck!

The IDC Thailand link is to a shop in Samui if I am not mistaken, but regardless either option in my opinion would be an improvement to using yourselves, even if it did involve travelling to Samui.

As you will no doubt recall my confidence in your shop is so low I recently even declined your offer of a free days diving. No need to say any more on that one I think.

Excelent advice in my opinion, you will gain more experience by learning at different places rather than just one shops methods, but some people on here are using the forum as a sales pitch instead of giving impartial advice.

Incidentally the circumstances outlined above by Ringo could quite easilly become apparent at Aquanauts as one of the owners (Roger if my memory serves me correctly, the one who is most evenings sat in the bar on beach road at the bottom of soi 6) is Mr Personality himself, probably the most ignorant person I have ever met.
That coupled with their poor service could easily leave someone who has commited to several months with them very unhappy.

LK -- You're so easy to wind up. It's just too fun. No one cares what you think about us because everyone knows it was 1 day, 8+ years ago. You keep saying "you did X" and "you did Y" when I wasn't even there back then.

BTW, we offer a pay as you go internship as well called the Aquanauts 4-Step plan that requires very little money down ($1,399) to start. So we've covered all the bases.

Now where's that stick so I can poke LK some more....

That was funny LK.

You are doing a great job, but how did you resist not being "poked" by the Soi 6 comment:rofl3:

1400 does not sound so cheap by the way. A basic plan in which you can add the extras might be good as well. I opted for this approach, but it depends on time limit and ultimate goals. The MSTD option is very wise for someone wishing to get a job and gaining experience with guidance.

Aquanauts Pattaya:

Yourself may well not have been there, but Mr Personality and his sidekick certainly were, not very good with names, is it Roger and Gary? I take it these are the two that you had a good laugh with as you stated on another thread. A dive shop laughing about serious safety issues and ripping there customers off, however long ago it was? How professional I must say.
And by the way it was Nov 2002 so it was 6+ years ago.
