I would say that's a pretty good list of satisfied customers! It's nice that Cozumel has soooo many good opperations!

I dove with them last month and have lots of good things to say. We had 2 DMs, Manuel for one day and Roberto for 4 days and a night dive. Both were very good. They allow you to dive your computer/air limits. As a huge consumer of air I appreciated the 100 cu. ft. aluminum tanks I always got. My wife is newer to the sport than the males in the family, both DMs offered suggestions to her that greatly improved her diving.

We were on the 'big' boat for a couple of days, it is not that big and still quite fast. DWM did a good job of placing 'like skill' divers on the boat.

I also dove with a more expensive dive shop for a twilight double header, these guys had 120 cu. ft. steel, a slightly faster boat and instructors rather than DMs.

I am planning a return trip to Cozumel and will be using DWM and will ask for Roberto. Best value for the $$$ in my opinion.

I've used them and tried several others over the years. I keep coming back to DWM. Great price, great DMs, let you do your own thing and select sites. I'll use them next time. I miss Martin though (he passed away several years back). I dove with him for many years when he was dive guide. He was a wonderful person - a divemaster's divemaster. Still the opreation is run by the family and Roberto and Orlando are great.

Like Sharky, we used to dive happily with them and now tend to dive with Blue Angel out of convenience of location (plus we like them too). Glad to hear they're still pleasing their divers. I'd call them in a second if I were staying at a different hotel. I think Martin himself used to lead some of the most gorgeous, best-routed dives ever (and most of the others were no slouches either). Plus I really enjoyed watching him take all of his gear off at 60 feet, send it to the surface and do a perfect, leisurely ascent. A thing of beauty. They were always very accommodating. If we said we wanted to do long dives, we did long dives.

They do take cash only; don't offer the free night dive anymore, but we did a video of one of our dives. I asked for 100 cf tanks as well and got them the rest of the week without having to ask again.

Didn't get to do a night dive as we couldn't find a 4th person to go with us. We looked all week for one more person without luck. If you want a night dive, you might want to make a back-up plan if you don't have 4 people in your group.

Also, FYI, my first dive in Cozumel was in 2008 on Palancar Horseshoe/Gardens and we visited the "Martin Monument". He passed away several years back. I think there is another Martin there, but it's not the original owner. Monument is no longer there - it's at the dive shop now.

This is because another dive op tried to out his dog there. People did not want this to become a graveyard. Personally I did not have a problem with the monument there as I know his love for his people and the island was huge. But is see the point the park had to play here. To bad the other op had to do that. It was a fitting place for him.

The story I got from one of our dive masters (can't recall which one) is that several other monuments had been placed there without permission, some destroying some of the coral. They said it also spooked some people because it started to look like a graveyard (personally, I think that part might have been pretty cool ).

Anyway the authorities removed them all except Martin's, giving DWM a few days to remove it themselves.

They also have a another special "Share with Martin". If you donate a bag of lightly used or new clothes they will give you a discount off your dive package if you book a package of 2 days or more. I think it's really awesome that they do their part in contributing to the community of Cozumel.

They reallly do have the best prices in town with equipment included. Most importantly I have not read one negative review about them. I will be diving in Cozumel for the first time in April and think DwM is the perfect fit for me. I will be donating some clothes for the kiddos
