Did you guys end up making the trip in Friday? I hope not. The wave height on noaa were around 6-8ft Friday evening with 10-15 mph winds from the NNW. I figured not a chance of diving Satuday morning with that. I ended up going to Haigh and spending some time in the water getting getting used to the dry suit again.

I am scheduled to try and make Nordic Diver again on Sunday October 16th for an PM dive on the Prins Willem and Milwaukee Car Ferry. I don't think it is a full boat if anyone is interested. I hope the weather does not spoil it again.

I would be interestedin Sunday afternoon trip. . . I need the chance to get in again - - Do you use drysuit or wetsuit for this dive???

Nope. I got hold of Dale before we headed up on Friday evening. He had just gotten off the plane from Vegas, took a look at the marine forecast, and cancelled the weekend. We went to Haigh also. Good thing in a way, the fills on my new LP121's were only 1700 PSI, and the yoke on my reg would not fit on the tanks' DIN/yoke combo valves. I ended up diving with my buddy's 121's. This would have been a major PITA out on the lake.
You'll have fun on the 16th., the Willie is a great dive. If you're going out on the LenDer, say hi to Jerry for me.

Normally I would dive these two wrecks wet this time of year but I also ready disliked my old dry suit. I bought a new dry suit that I want to get time in the water with. You will be fine with a 7 mil + hood + gloves. We just had a diver drop out for the Sunday PM dive so we are in need of another diver to fill his spot to make this trip a go. Please let me (and Bill Prince) know if you want to go.

I will also be at Haigh this Saturday getting used to the new dry suit and fine tuning my weighting before the Sunday dive.
