Hi everybody,

Very often I see the same question on this forum : East or West Coast in Thailand ?
Why not doing both ?

We offer you excellent prices on guided dives in Koh Tao, and diving safaris in the Similan Islands. We can also organize your transfert between the two locations !

Come check our website : http://ecodive.googlepages.com/diving_safaris

We hope to see you soon !

Hi everyone,

This is the old debate, the East Coast or the West Coast?
The high season for Koh Tao and the East Coast is between March and October, the high season for the West Coast is the exact opposite.

Koh Tao is famous for it's cheap diving, the best dive sites around there are Chumpon Pinnacle where there are occasional sightings of Whale Sharks and Bull Sharks.

The West Coast is known for it's world class diving consisting of the Similan Islands, Hin Daeng Hin Muang and Phi Phi Islands.
During the High Season we have sightings of Whale Sharks and Mantas around Hin Daeng and Muang and Phi Phi Islands.
If you would like to dive Phi Phi the traditional way come and join us in Blue View Divers, where we offer late starts, handmade longtail boats and lunch breaks on the beaches.
We are tucked away in Loh Dalum Bay, in Viewpoint Resort, right on the beach.
We are an eco dive shop that is involved in cleanups, artificial reef and coral growth projects and train local Thais to dive.
We also arrange liveaboards to the Similan Islands in Phuket and trips to Hin Daeng and Muang, Koh Haa and The King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Anemone Reef.
For more information go to www.blueviewdivers.com or email us at blueviewdivers@gmail.com

Having dived both coasts of Thailand, I'll weigh in that I enjoyed both locations but would give the west coast an edge. Hope to return sometime soon!
