I see there is a new agency. How long does it typically take for an agency to become accredited? By accredited I mean recognized by others. By others I mean anyone who can interfere with your diving plans.

Shouldn't take long at all with their extensive experience.

I'm always curious as to what is the motivation for creating another dive agency. What do they offer that others do not?
When no other agency will let you do something, you make up your own.

Well, that plus some combination of ego and the thought they can make some money out of it.

New tech agencies tend to be motivated more by the first and second factor, new rec agencies by the second and third.
