You say this has been going on for three yrs. If that is true then what I would do is contact all the shops you know of then combine all of your resource to create a unstopable law suit and you will have the cash flow to with stand time. At the same time report it to your business licensing dept and have them pull the retail permit at that point he must have done a theft as it is now stolen money any way you look at. You have had your money stolen from you with a lie. And because it was a check you have proof and so does he in some legal way thats why he used check form ? What is that ? How was he protected by doing that ?

AquaLogic:
Sorry, I thought it was posted - We have a new shop in Boca Raton (Aqua Logic), Florida - His scams have been going on for the past 3 years. I'm sure most of the shops who have his system bought them a long time ago, before he started pulling this stuff. We know of 7 shops that have filed law suits against him, including us. He is quite the con artist!!

FillExpress uses a DNAx system, no? Were they just lucky to get their two systems (less than three years ago)? I still think there's more to this story than what I'm reading here...

I sent an e-mail and asked the question first hand just to see what comes back.

Sorry to hear dude, but I'm with Cdiver, why pay that amount of money up front?

I'm not in business, but you just dont do that...

Never pay for anythgin in advance...especially big dollar machines.

Even for custom built equipment we use a payment schedule that gives the builder enough to oporate yet withholds final payment until after delivery and/or instalation and testing.

What could possibly posses any one who's been in the world for more than about 8 seconds to pay that kind of money up front?

I can't believe someone would pay in advance on something so elaborate and expensive. It'd be akin to walking into a dealership and plopping $30K in cash on the sales manager's desk before you walk out to the lot to look at the vehicles...

Who does that?

Nobody pays cash up front... in case you want to pay a deposit or something you can use VISA – they have fraud coverage in case the product/service is not delivered/done so they can take care of business for you. There is a bit of a fight but you should take your money back from that guy one way or another.

I spoke with Fill Express and they had to fight tooth and nail for Undersea Breathing to get their system installed. They had to hire an attorney.

Much more...

Yes there is much more to this story, seven of us had the same thing done!! All of us have filed law suits against this guy. The bottom line is he's a scam artist and a thief, he takes peoples money and doesn't deliver. Regardless if all of us paid him up front, he stole money from us.

We checked him out and he had good references and those people we spoke with gave him money up front and got their machine.

What we didn't realize is that this is a recent thing he's been doing. So the people we spoke with were very happy with their equipment because they had received it long ago.

It's been quite an expensive experience for all of us!
