I've seen Dive Rite Trans Pac II's offered online and was wondering if anyone knows the difference between a Trans Pac and Trans Pac II.

ONESPEED:I've seen Dive Rite Trans Pac II's offered online and was wondering if anyone knows the difference between a Trans Pac and Trans Pac II.
Kim:6 months ago and it will be the 2. I don't think that they label it like that anymore - it just says Transpac.
I never saw the original Transpac but my Transpac II says on the badge. When we bought another one much later for a friend of mine it didn't say it was the II anymore - just Transpac. It was identical to mine though.ONESPEED:Thanks Kim, do you know what the difference is? Just curious. When I bought mine from my LDS I was told it was the new generation so I am assuming I have the II.
I use the travel wing. It's fine for any single tank that I've ever used - my own tanks are 14ltr steels - that's a big steel tank. Packing it up for travel on planes is great - really light and easy.ONESPEED:Oh well, I bought it from a very reputable dive shop who told me it was "next generation" so I assume it is the II. Either way I love it. I'm using a Recwing, what wing are you diving with yours?
