Hey out there ... was wondering if any of ya cold water divers have used the Dive Rite 2500 ice regulators in waters below 35f waters and below 100fsw? Just curious as to the proformance of these regs ... What i do know is my Scuba Flows don't work worth a darn as a cold water reg! (MK20/S550).

For this question, I would like to refer you over to www.thedecostop.com. There are a very good amount of divers over there, all technical, that will be happy to share their thoughts. I havent come across hardly any DR reg users on this board. Good luck.

Haven't used my in colder than 60F but have used them to 200+fsw and they worked flawlessly.
Many of my buds who dive the cold stuff swear by them. The diaphragm design works quite a bite better in cold than the SP pistons.

I have 3 and so far no problems with cold, depth, or cold at depth. Most of my diving is in the NorthEast so temps around 35 are common. The deepest I have been with mine is about 130. That should change this year as I work through adv nitrox, deco, and trimix. The only thing I do recomend is adding the cold water kit, if nothing else it keeps the salt out. This makes them much easer to rebuild (less salt to clean from internals).

I just got one (it arrived Sat.) and I bought it because a tech diver friend swears by them and he dives deep and cold. He knows I've lost faith in my old Scuba Pro MK10 and it's having a really bad effect on my diving. I've been to 135' in water that was probably 38 degrees with one of his and I was really pleased with the way it breathed. I can't wait to get mine in the water!
