For those who own the Nitek Q, I wanted to post a helpful hint after I ran into some pixelation problems with mine. I run it on 10 as I do most of my diving in Key Largo and the sunshine often washes the display out, but after talking with John at Dive Rite, they recommend running it no more than 5 or 6 for two reasons. First is that it really drains the battery (a few hours vs over ten by running it lower) and second is that it greatly decreases the screen life. In fact, on the new models they will likely fix this issue, so if you own the Nitek Q (a great dive computer at a great price IMO) then you might want to consider running the brightness no higher than 6 to save battery/screen and to reduce pixelation.

Cheers,
TB
