I'm still waiting to get my problems resolved - I've pretty much relegated my Dive Rite NiTek3 computer to be the backup for my TUSA IQ-700 now.

I also noticed the link in the Dive Rite Express library now shows to be for NiTek Logic v3.25 - hmm, they've already changed something since their release of v3.24 earlier this year.

Hello to all :)

I’m using NiTek Logic v.3.25 and I have no problem at all to download from my NiTek-He to the computer. Please do the following: press button “A” until “PC” is displayed, then click on the “lighting” square box (Logic 3.25 software) when you are ready to download and then press button “B” on the NiTek-He “PC LOAD” is displayed, now quickly put NiTek-He on the cradle and press “OK”, download will initialize.

I had the same issues with trying to download. How I fixed it (XP Pro) I went in to the hardware settings for my usb device and changed the port speed to 2400 baud, and unchecked the 16650. Downloads the dives but after it's done still throws the error.

I've followed this thread with interest for several months. I own a NiTek Dive Computer (original version, not NiTek 1). According to the DR website (http://www.diverite.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=CO8610), their Docking Station (Model Number: CO8610 ) accommodates the NiTek Dive Computer (my model). I am considering purchasing the docking station to download my dive data.

I have downloaded the Niteklogic software (v3.25) and have it running on my computer (WinXP SP2). What has been your experience with this version (v3.25) of the software? Does it work effectively? I understand (and empathize with) your frustration about the migration/import from previous versions of the software, however, this wouldn't be an issue for me (until v3.26 :05: ) if I were to purchase the NiTek Docking Station.

Would some of you please provide comments regarding your experience.

Thanks much.

I bought one for my Nitek 3 and according to the DiveRite people at the NACD conference the Nitek3 is pretty finnicky which I interpretated as it really doesn't work with the docking station. If your interested I might be interested in selling my docking station. I've gone to Sensus Pro units, much simpler and can be easily read if I ever need a chamber ride. I have a couple of them extra new with cradles for sale also.

Hoodsport Diver,

My NiTek3 and docking station worked well with NiTek Logic v2.09, which is the same vintage as the NiTek3. If you get a docking station, you should consider using only the older version of the software. My issue revolves around not having dives previously downloaded using v2.09 that are scrambled with the upgrade to v3.06 lost. Maybe v3.25 will work fine from day 1 for you too. I've just put my stuff on hold so as not to lose the electronic copy of our tech certification dives.

Hi Divers,
I look for Nitek He and VR3 Dive Computer, do you know where can get better price. NItek He and VR3 Comparison which one is advantages.

All this talk is with the HE? What about 3.25 with the Duo??? Just purchased a new Duo and a docking station, that came with the softwware. (would not even install on my XP Sp2 machine, called DR and Kenny e-mailed me a copy of version 3.25. I have loaded it, however I have not yet gotten the Duo wet. I expect to be diving with it in Maui next month. I am going to use it as a "B/u" computer on this trip and see what happens when I dive it/upload to the Laptop.

Any new news??

Thanks

Still no luck for me - I've pretty well moved on by now to depending on our TUSA IQ-700 computers and the PC LogBook software for us going forward.

Dive Rite Express has this on their site now though. You can also download NiTek Logic v3.25 from the Dive Rite Express web site also.

I everybody from Italy!
I've just bought a used nitek He with its interface... I tried to download the old dives of this computer with the Nitek Logic v 3.25 but a message advises that "there were no dives on this Unit"...
Checking the log of my He I can see that there are at last 18 dives logged on... What's the problem? Any idea? Should I change my logic version with an older one?
Thanks to all

Sheesh....is there any software that actually works with the Nitek-He? Does anyone have the software or know where it can be found on the web? I bought a used one and I would like to down load my dives to my computer, I have the interface.

Rick
