The team I dove with had a converted ambulance with a trailer and we had an SUV driven by an officer to haul the boat .

We used a retired ambulance for about 14 years until the thing was no longer road worthy. Tried to get another truck then the town said they would buy us a trailer. Jumped at that seeing the wallet was finally opened. We customized the inside and it works well.
