Great diving today (10/13/13) off Venice. Viz was 25 feet in 28 feet of water, 15 feet in 25 feet of water. Water temp is holding at 80 for now. Should be great through end of November as long as no major fronts blow through. Things are also great off shore, marine life is all over the ledges and artificial reefs. Our Thursday off shore trips have been fantastic, Eagle Rays, many Goliath Grouper, and we have been eliminating Lion Fish on the ledges in 40+ feet of water. This is a great time of year for diving in the Gulf.

10/14/13 - Another great day! Viz again 15-25 feet depending on location. We were able to hit some spots that are usually "No Go" due to viz. No one other than us (The Hammerhead) out today despite the Monday Holiday. Our next trip is scheduled for Thursday, and we have room if anyone wants to jump on board.

One other pair of divers getting ready when we pulled in, when we got an hour later there were 4-5 more cars of divers suiting up. Nice relaxing dive, found lots of small stuff and a golf ball. Went out a little past the coquina reef, but no deeper than 18 feet.
