10/20/2010:

Did Alhambra/The Blocks today... 3 dives:

9:30 entry: Waters less than 1 ft. Viz was average of 5 ft (8 in some places!). Water was cold (computer broken, but probably 76... I am officially a FL diver (not CA) if I consider that cold!). Winds were about 5 knots (+/- 3).

11:45 entry: same as above, more overcast... viz 4-5 ft (dropping a bit)

2:30 entry: viz was horrible on the west side of blocks/ further out (less than 2). In between blocks and closer to beach, pockets of 3-4 feet.

Small teeth, fully intact large mako! (lower jaw...). One meg.
Tons of "new" fish (alive)... water is colder and fish population is changing... but good to see a recovery of life after last year (sorry for "off topic/post"... but last year was bad, this year better.... life is good) :)

Good hunting to all...

Did S. Brohard at 9:30 AM Incoming tide, east winds, slight chop, water temp 75 & vis 3-5 ft.
