Entered at the north drain pipe of Venice beach, worked NW
8:45AM, 87F, small ripples at surface with a pretty decent bottom current.
Viz very variable 3-10 feet at times
The bottom in areas had a brown algae over it and very very soft.
Made my way further west than I expected, found a very nice 3” meg, and lots of nicer small teeth, a few damaged small megs.

Curious, how deep were you once you started finding teeth?

My max depth was 21’ and I’d say around 19’ was average. I usually swim on the bottom on my way in until I hit 500 then surface. I usually see stuff the whole way in. I was a bit more observant of my location today though since I did crappy yesterday and today was much better. I thought I was almost in to shore after swimming for a while but then I came upon the concrete blocks. So I would guess I was 100 yards west of the blocks.
