Made it back out the the Mighty "O" with the H2O below this time as a working diver. Great trip with only 3 students, 1 instructor and 1 customer who was certified as a DM. We had the whole darn site to ourselves, and it was a gorgeous day. We had just a slight breeze and warm temps and despite a no-show by the sun the conditions were perfect! We got a late start from the dock but due to the light load on board we made great time out to the "O" and we were splashing at just before 10:30. We had awesome viz on the wreck probably pushing toward 100' at depth and the layer of silt in the top 40 feet has definately thinned out since my visit on Saturday. We got in two fantastic dives and I even got to see my first octopus of the year.

The ride in was great with seas less than 1/2 a foot the whole ride back. We had a great time and Captain Douglas and DM Rich Sleppy did a great job!

With 4 dives on the "O" in as many days people may start getting me confused with Donna (Seadoggirl). ;)

Ooops forgot the important stuff....Viz was about 30-40 feet on the top 40 feet, opening up to about 80 feet at the top of the tower and opening to 100 towards the deck. Temps were 65* at depth and 74* on the top.

I have yet to dive the O, usually looks too crowded for my tastes. Maybe I will have to take a day off of work and try it out soon.

Her last visit was October 31st, 2009, and "MrXray" showed up in 2008. Obviously a planned sock puppet.

Nice XRay!! I am looking forward to getting back out there soon!

We're going out in the morning, and I'm sure there is room onboard!

Then a mad rush to Springfest! Wow, what a week!

Nice XRay!! I am looking forward to getting back out there soon!
