The weather was beautiful and the visibility was excellent!
Current was almost non-existent!
We were down for the memorial day weekend where I got my AOW certification and then a few fun dives including a night dive after AOW.
We went with Rainbow reef - which for our group was good, but billing was a bit of a fiasco!
I took my camera on the 7 dives I got in after my AOW, and broke it down into 3 videos-
2 for reefs, and one for Spiegel Grove.
We hired a private guide for Spiegel Grove which got us at least an extra 10+ minutes in the water than the rest of the group.
Visibility was fair, and there was a slight current that day, but a great dive either way!
We ate at Bayside for dinner (ask for the fried lobster, it's on the menu, but it's awesome), as well as the best blackened (also not on the menu) scallops I've ever had at The Fish House.
Covid is basically over in the keys as masks aren't required anymore in Florida (though we had to wear them on the boat in/out of port).
We stayed at an AirBnB; there are multiple in the area that are adequate and quite affordable if you're splitting with others.
These were the first videos I've ever taken under water, so be gentle; I used a DJI Osmo Action.
Here are the 3 videos:
