We enjoyed the best visibility we've seen on the platform today. It was at least twenty-five feet and we could see it from forty feet above.

The posts were covered with juvenile California Scorpionfish. Some spots had a half dozen resting together.

The main draw of the platform, nudibranchs, seemed to be on vacation. I only saw a half dozen species, but I did find my first Aegires albopunctatus.

While I was on a nudi hunt, Merry shot video. It's nice to have good enough visibility for photography once in awhile. Maybe it will make me forget how bad it's been all year.

Wow you must have hawk eyes to spot that tiny Aegires albopunctatus! Love the first shot of the Janolus, very crisp. Are they a normal find on the platform?

I've seen a few. There are a lot of Facelina trilineatas, but I didn't get a good shot of one. I used a focus light for the first time in decent vis and had some luck with the others.

Your photography is crazy good! I'm repeatedly impressed by your posted work! Would love it if you could list the name of each subject with the photo. While I know it would take a few more minutes, you have never seemed short of desire to educate some of us. It's easy to find a pic if I have the name but to find the name of something in a pic is much harder. Thanks for posting these!!

Every once in a while folks like Phil and Merry remind me that there is diving on the murky mainland. Thanks Phil for posting these.

All done. Sometimes I get lazy. :)

Phil, nice to see the platform is still around...haven't dove it in a very long time...with you last time...maybe 4 years ago...wow!

Where is it located now?

MaxBottomTime,

What is that creature with the - like - billion tentacles?
