Dove clarks point near wolfeboro in the lake on sun 6/22 at about 10:30am. not much to see under the water just rocks and sticks. The surface temp was 64 and at 37' went down to 57. The highlight was the bass coming over to check us out so I grabbed some clams opened them up and started feeding the fish. All and all it was good to get wet. And the gear cleaning went alot quicker. 1st fresh water dive Looking forward to getting back in the ocean.

Been interested in trying this out.. For days can't dive ocean due to weather conditions. Pls. let me know next time you plan on going to Clarks Point as I would like to try it out. Not sure how to get there, where to park, enter... What's the max depth??

Im told by a diver friend that lives right on this lake that there are a number of small boat wrecks you can dive in this lake.

Also, he says that there is a wall of sorts to dive along in there as well.

You can look into both of these possibilities.

Sorry about the delayed reply. I had tagged along with a student on his ow cert dive. Barb from aquatic specailties told me it can get down to 100' of the point. I think:confused: she said that was of to the left. As for how to get there I took rt28n till almost into downtown wolfeboro. About 3/4 mi before downtown on the left is Clark road. After you turn onto that rd follow it for about 2 miles. When the road makes a hard left 90 You should see at the center of the turn a small pine knoll on the rt. That is where you park. This area is small so if there is more than 1 car try to block each other in to leave room for others. I do not remember seeing a sign but Barb told me it was public property. There were 2 picnic tables there one up top and one down the hill near the water. If you have trouble finding it there is a shop in downtown wolfeboro called Dive Winnipesaukee http://www.divewinn.com/ I'm sure they could help you out Its only 5 min away. I'm am keeping this site in mind for real bad weather days, but I missed bringing home the lobsta.Reefseal I'm free to dive one or two days of long 4th of july weekend if your interested. I'm only 15 min away from merrimack we could car pool.

I'll send you a PM with my contact info. I know I'll be diving 4th July weekend. Just don't know what days I can get out yet.. I'm hoping for NELD group dive in Cape Ann. High tide's late PM that weekend. Let me know what you're thinking of doing.

Would love to get out today but have work around the house. I did AM Scallop Dive charter Fri AM, then PM dive at Lanes Cove. Last night did two night dives in Cath Rocks as conditions ideal. I'm dived out for weekend.

So far, weather's looking great for Cath rocks afternoon dive.
