Dive 2098 6/10/2021 Newport RI Kings Beach solo
Sunny day light winds from the NE, tide was out going, surface temp 62 for the 1st ten feet then a 10F drop below that. Max depth 13FSW 37min BT vis 10'-15' B temp 52F.
Lots of fish, small togs and bait fish were everywhere. I was too optimistic judging the water temp in the shallows and wore 3mm farmer John bottoms and light hood. The 7mm FJ bottoms and 2mm hooded vest would have been a better choice or a dry suit.
I was happy to able to get down the hill and into the water, back out and up the hill, without hurting myself; the good vis and active sea life were a bonus. Good to be back in the water even for a short dive.
