Im 2 weeks out from major sinus surgery and hope to get back in in May with cleared ethmoids and sphenoids, trimmed turbinatres, a straightened septum, and removed polyps.

You're not fooling anyone, we all know you're going in for rhinoplasty! Next thing we know you'll be wearing a sequined wetsuit glove on one hand. :D

Seriously though, hope you recover quickly.

Actually I could do with a Rhinoplasty. Recovery isnt too bad just some scary episodes (I'll spare you the details). I think tapering off the meds is the hardest part now and the follow-ups for cleaning are a bit brutal. I'de hate to imagine getting kidnapped by aliens.

Hoping to get back in the water ASAP.

Thanks Chris

Any fresh site reports on conditions at FW? I am thinking on going there Fri or Sun.

My buddy (Jerry) from the 3/27 Ft Wetherill dive took a couple of pictures and he just sent them too me. Just in case anyone thought I was exaggerating here is one of them so you can see the visibility for yourself.

(He made me hold his flag for the picture.... don't ask me why he used thick line like that for a flag)

I dove last at Wetherell on 4/9 and conditions were hit or miss. The wind had turned from the south so it was pushing surge up into the coves and deteoriating the vis from what it was 2 weeks ago. I'd say with the outgoing tide it was down to 10'-15' at best, and noticeably worse with incoming tide. Some life starting to come back though.

Nice picture Chris. Are you going to Red's Beach cleanup on Sunday? We are doing the OCA tuneup dive right after that. Then it's back to the yard to slap a coat of bottom paint on Adventurer

What's the water temperature off RI and in general area? I plan to do my first dive of this year Friday 4/24, near New Bedford.
