Although one must contend with many boats, snorkelers anmd other divers when diving out of Cabo, I found that many of the fish that are far more skittish at less frequently dived sites (like the islands off Loreto and La Paz) were far more approachable at Cabo and I got better footage of them there.

Hey Doc Hows it Going? still in Catalina? I did my open water Dives there back in 1984.I miss the kelp beds There.
Your right about being able to approach the Marine life here. Its like they know its a Marine park. When the Divers arrive at a Dive site the fish all come running almost like they like to have there photos taken. They also like the snacks that most Divers bring.
We do have some extra traffic in the winter season when the cruise ship season is in full swing thats stops in June. But theres never been an accident where a Diver or a snorkelers has been hit by a boat. All of the Boat Capt.s know that this a Dive area and everyone works to keep the area safe.
Stop by the shop next time your in Cabo we can trade dive storys.
Safe Diving to all.
