The conditions were absolutely perfect today. Water looked like glass when we entered. High Tide was 9:40AM and we arrived at Folly Cove around 9:30AM. I believe we were in the water by 10:15AM.

The second dive was a bit more tricky, I believe many people refer to them as "ankle breaking" rocks. Certainly not very fun to do with lots of surge and low tide but manageable if you're careful. I think I am spoiled by boat diving now. I ended up crawling until I got deep enough to put my fins on. I'm happy to report no injuries or bruises.

There was only one other group there when we first arrived in the morning but after 2nd dive there were about four groups there. We unloaded our gear and cars were parked by the Lobster Pool restaurant.

The first dive was on the right side of the cove. 30ft for 56 minutes. Temperature was 51f according to my computer. My believe the other group with us went out a bit further and hit 60ft.

The 2nd dive we decided to do the left side of the cove. 27ft for 46 minutes.

Unfortunately no luck with lobsters. Saw lots of shorts that didn't even come close to being legal sized. Possibly one or two legal sized that weren't reachable. One other diver managed to grab one very good sized lobster but it looks like that was it.

I did manage to grab two flounder, one of my dive buddies also grabbed a much larger flounder. Saw a nice red Sea Raven, some horseshoe crabs, large amounts of winter skates. Some flounder and of course some Nudibranches! I know I am missing other stuff.

Overall a great dive. Unforuntately I severely underestimated the New England sun today; I've got a nice sunburn.
