Best resort in raja Ampat ?

March is ok to dive ?

Why not a liveaboard instead? Group trip has room on Damai II departing from Sorong on January 24, if I recall the date correctly. Majority of divers aboard will be single. Let me know if you're interested in more info.

That is actually one of the best times of the year to visit Raja Ampat, although it is general good year round. Here is some more specific info on weather. I agree that it may be best to consider a Liveaboard for Raja Ampat because some of the best locations are quite inaccessible otherwise. This will also allow you to get to places that are not crowded with other divers.

We were there in March. Diving was stunning. 10 days on Mermaid I liveaboard. IMO, liveaboard is the best way to dive the area.

I just came back from Raja Ampat, a liveaboard is a good option for sure, but if you prefer to be on land I recommend Waiwo Resort near Wasai. It's near Wasai village and the pier so easily accessible and still not to far from the best dive sites like Cape Kri, Sardine Reef and Blue Magic. The only dive that's a bit far out is Manta Sandy, takes about one hour by boat.
