I'll by in the area between 8/5 and 8/9 and would like to get at least one day of diving in. I'm staying about half way between Destin and PCB, so I'm looking for advice on which is better diving. I dove out of Destin in the past, but I don't know anything about PCB diving. I'd like to try a wreck dive if that makes any difference. I'm the only diver in our group, so if anybody wants to join me or let me join their group let me know.
Thanks

I have limited experience diving both areas, but I'm pretty sure Panama City will have more wrecks to dive. The USS Accokeek is one of my favorites. Give Capt. Pat a call and he will put you on a boat: Panama City Dive Charters - Scuba charters & classes

Of course the biggest wreck in the area, and the largest intentionally sunk wreck in the world is the USS Oriskany in Pensacola. Capt. Doug has a roomy boat, with shade, freshwater showers and a working head. Give him a call if you're interested: Charter Boat H2O Below - Dive The USS Oriskany in Pensacola, Florida

I second Heltand's Recommendations.

I also agree with Hetland. PCB has a Navy base which has helped them have alot of wrecks. Patmygreen has the best outfit in Panama City Beach and the cheapest air and Nitrox. I have used them all in PCB Pat is the best.

I will agree with the others--- PC Dive charters=AWESOME!!:) I live in PC and might be free the sixth...If you need a dive buddy!! Can tell you price is 85 or so for boat dive tanks not inc. and depths to 75 or 80 depending on wreck...(inshore) pm me if you want!!

Thanks for the info you've provided. I think I'll give Capt. Pat a call this week and try to get a dive scheduled with him. JEC, I'll send you a pm. Thanks.
