Brules,

I was next door at the Melia last fall and took a taxi each morning to Calleta marina to catch the boat. It was about 15-20 mins. and $10 each way.

I was going to use Scuba Du but because the Melia and El Coz are having a pier pi$$ing match, Scuba Du wanted me to walk down to the next hotel to catch the boat.

Ended up having one of the best dive trips yet. My advice, look around...find the op that suits you best.

Yeah if I dive with my normal op, Papa Hogs, I will just drive myself to them every day (we always rent a jeep for the week). Kinda a hassle, but then again, the drive will be nice and relaxing and I get to see the scenery. Cant beat that!

Brules:
So whats the status of the Ocean Tours @ the El Coz.....I will be staying there in July and would really like to not have to drive to meet a dive boat, so pier pickup would be bonus.

BUT then again I am hesitant to book with Ocean ToursScuba Du with out Antonio being there. :)

Tell them to give you your old job back!

That's actually in the works Justin, I'll email you.

PLease do! I cant wait to hear!

I am booking my trip this week, July 1-8th at the El Coz!

We are still in Cozumel and Aldora has picked us up every morning at the Villa Aldora to take us diving except for the first day we were here a norther had just blown in and they paid for our cab to the Caletta. Its been great! We also stopped at a couple of other piers to pick up some other people who were staying at other hotels. They pick us up right at the hotel around 7:30 we went to our dives did a 1-1/2 hour surface interval depending on where we dove ( Maricabo our last diving day) then did our second dive and arrived back at the villa around 1:30 or so. Maracabo has been the best diving spot this whole trip and of course that is because it is the deepest dive around. We took several rolls of pictures and will post some pictures after we get back home which will be sometimes tonight. Water temperature is around 78 and a little chilly. I will also send in a trip report after we get back home. Kathy
