Hello,

I am planning to visit a relative in South Florida area in mid August. I am looking for a decent dive operation (between West Palm and Miami) which offers tanks using DIN valves/connectors. Any help is appreciated.

You do not necessarily need DIN (if you have an adaptor). However, if you do not have a DIN adaptor, seek those who have the PST or Worthington tanks with the valve that allows use of either DIN or Yoke (thermo pro valve). Seek the larger capacity tanks and go Nitrox for the best value of the trip.

Splashdown can sometimes supply DIN tanks, if you ask in advance. Otherwise, you'll probably need a yoke adaptor, or you can rent tanks for the week from Fill Express, and get steel 100's with DIN valves.

Just pop for a DIN adapter. If you go anywhere in the Caribbean, you'll need it anyway.

Thanks for the info.. The adapter just came in today and i will test it tomorrow on my friend's tanks

I still would do some dives with Splashdown out of Boynton Beach!
