Your overthinking it.....no "kit" just a few extra orings in your BC pocket and use a CC as a remover. They can't take what does not exist....and one less thing to carry to boot.

Was in Bonaire in Oct of 2011. We stayed at the Caribbean Club, less than ten minutes from town and owned by Buddy's so we had full privileges at Buddy's which was nice. Except for breakfast... The rooms at Carib Club were nicer than Buddy's, though we were only in one of Buddy's rooms for a couple of hours to eat lunch with friends. We could pick up nitrox tanks at Buddy's or Carib Club, 24 hours a day and we always had spare o-rings with us.

We were a victim of theft on a night dive at the Hilma Hooker. Wasn't much in the truck expect for shorts and shirts. They kept my shorts and t-shirt but threw my buddy's shirt out on the beach about 20 yards away. It was an ugly shirt! The left our Tevas, maybe size 14 just doesn't go down there? The only reason we had clothes with us was were meeting friends for dinner after the dive. Oh well...

Carib club was great, so was Buddy's. Other friends down there were at the Sand Dollar for the first time, they said it was OK. I would certainly go to Bonaire again and would stay at the Carib Club, no problem.

At a place like Bonaire, valves and O rings take a beating from heavy use. Expect to have occasional O ring issues. I got a little O ring kit shaped like an air tank. It has a screw top with a pick and a chamber inside to store O rings.

We used Dive Friends for the first time last November, they were fine. Pleasant, helpful staff, fills were good and nitrox was very steady at 32%. Best thing was they let us do our check out dive when we wanted to. No waiting around for the 9 am class. Of course we already knew (and subscribe to) the marine park regs.

I have used BDA (2), Buddy (3) Divi (1) and Captn. Don's (1) previously.

Buddy's drive through service has always elicited kudos, but I have encountered lines there. We were diving with friends, on our November trip, who used Buddy and they had some short fills with their tanks. There was no supervision at the drive-up either. People without nitrox cards (there are different color cards for air or nitrox) were taking nitrox tanks. There were no nitrox tanks available on at least one occasion.

BDA has changed their set up recently so obtaining access to gear and tanks, after hours, is easier.

Divi was the most formal set up, with a really nice gear storage area out on their dock.

I would go back to any of these operators.
