Hello,
I am looking for a dive operation nearby the Port of Miami. Wally, on the board tried to help but is not available. I have currently contacted h2o scuba and they have availablity but would like to see if there are any closer charters.
Thanks,
Justin Hipperling

Talk to Robert at Ocean Safari. Their boat, the Nautilus, goes out of Sealine Marina just on the north side of the port.
305-548-3483. Mention that Renee referred you (one of the DMs)

If he is not going on on the days you want try Tarpoon Lagoon, RJ's Diving or South Beach Divers. They all go out of the Miami Marina. Have fun! Great diving in Miami!

Mom lives in Kendall, so when we visit we head to the Keys for diving. I'd be interested to hear about alternatives: what sorts of dives are in the Port of Miami area?

Thanks!

Here are a couple links for you to check out. I have dove on the Wreck Trek, the Jose Cuervo lounge, Miss Patricia, Hole, Dema Trader, the Culverts, Deep Freeze, Blue Fire, Belcher Barge, Belzona, Biscayne, Lakeland, Matthew Lawrence, Tortuga, Orion, Tacoma, Miss Britney, Proteus, Sheri-Lyn and Ultra Freeze (just to name a few). There are also some lovely reefs which we usually hit on the second dive. The Sheri-Lyn is one of my favorites. Miss Britney has picked up a couple GGs and the biggest morey you'll ever see! The culverts are not to be missed (first time there this weekend - awesome!) Run time out is usually between 30 - 40 minutes. Can catch a current from time to time but most days its not too bad. Let me know next time you are visiting and we'll hook you up!

Renee
