Heading to PR in early Feb. I contacted one operator I found on the web but have heard nothing back. Does anyone know of a reputable operator out of San Juan? Also, I have dove in San Juan at Escambron park but am looking for something else. Shore or boat is fine.

Depending on where you are staying, I can definitely recommend Caribe Aquatic Adventure, Aqua Adventure, Scuba Dogs or Eco Divers.

I too am looking to do some diving while in Puerto Rico. Thanks for the San Juan recommendations, Diviac Travel. I'm interested in a day trip to St. Thomas for diving, any suggestions on that front?

Yes, we have a few recommendations for St. Thomas dive centers as well. Because you are going for a day trip, I would guess location is important. If you are arriving by air, you can check out Admiralty Dive Center, Blue Island Divers, or Red Hook Dive Center. All have great reviews from our community of divers. If you do intend to fly, remember to take into account your no-fly times before booking your departing flight. However, if you are arriving by boat, you might look into Aqua Marine St. Thomas. It’s a bit closer to the port.
