I'm planning on starting my Dive Master class in february, then having somewhere around 90 dives. But 50-60 of those are easy-as-hell-vacation-dives and the rest are our normal dives here in Scandinavia with cold water, low vis in a dry suit. However, I think readyness and aptness has to do with personality, maturity and attitude. I've seen real good AOW divers, and then again terrible rescue divers, bounsing on the bottom and not really knowing up from down.

Good luck!
