I have a MacBook Air that I travel with. I use MacDive and like it a lot. I have used a windows computer and some of the dive log programs that come with the computer. They all pretty much stink IMO.

+1 on the Mac Dive & Dive Log combination. Especially considering that both are going to support DCbuddy

My students have been asking for a dive planner for iPad that will allow them to plan their no-deco dives when they are on the boat. They will be planning two to three recreational dives.

In addition of being a dive planner it also includes a dive logger (and with DCbuddy you con direct download logs from a supported dive computer), a dive analyzer and a dive computer simulator for ~50 model-specific dive computers..
divePAL is also used by PADI in their new OW course.
