I have the following dive knife and it can be attached to the BC or one of the hoses. I was wondering if attached to the hose is there any particular one and location on the hose?
I'm not sure on how it would attach to the BC. Any suggestions? I have a Cressi Aquapro 5.
Thanks,
Bill

Attach it to the same hose as your SPG as close to the SPG as possible.

On a vertical chest strap. In easy reach but out of the way of the adjusting straps.

I havent played with your bc, so i dont know how it works, but i dive an Aqualung Balance and it has two grommets for knife placement. as for mounting on a hose...i dont particularly want ANYTHING sharp near ANY of my hoses...its dark, you are trying to put your knife back in and...oops...no good in my book. i wear my scubapro dive knife on the inside of my left calf (i am right handed). get a set of knife straps and put it there if you can't put it on your bc anywhere. hope this helps!

I agree with the advice to attach to the hose or the BC - just make sure that it is somewhere that you can reach with either hand.

On the topic of having a sharp object next to a hose vs. next to a BC, I'll take next to a HP hose any day. BC's (and chests too for that matter) can be punctured far easier than a HP hose can be cut. Even if the HP hose were cut completely (pretty much impossible with a dive knife) you really wouldn't lose that much air - one might have a bigger problem with a cut BC or a cut diver. All IMNSHO of course.

I agree with putting it on the hose but another option depending on the atachments i would also suggest putting it on your waist strap near the center buckle, i say near the center buckle coz that way it should be fairly easy to reach with either hand

goodluck,
Brad

I have the exact same knife. Mine is attached to my regulator BC inflater hose about 2" above the quick connector, and you pull down on the knife to remove it from the sheath. I can reach it with either hand in this position.

Hey, I have the point tip twin to your knife, I mounted mine on right shoulder strap with velcro works nicely for me,I can reach this setup with both hands, I also have shears on my bc in some easy to reach places, As they are usually my first choice for cutting anything
