What better way to warm up after some dives in cold water (well, cold for Texas anyway
) than hanging out around a nice big campfire?
Our March dive event will give you a chance to log some dives and get toasty warm afterward. We're headed to the Blue Lagoon on Saturday March 9th. This event's later in the day than usual.
Officially we'll start about 3:00 pm, but get there whenever you can. Arriving about 3:00 will give you time to gear up and get a dive or two in before night falls. About dusk we'll start a campfire :cool2:, so bring some chairs so you can hang out and enjoy the evening with us. Those who want to do a night dive are welcome to do so.
If you want to head home that evening, please plan on being on the road by 10:00 pm at the latest (they lock the gates at 10:00). If you don't feel like driving home, you're welcome to camp. If you are camping, please post & let us know so we can let them know how many to expect.
Even if you're not up for diving, you're welcome to come enjoy the campfire with us.
Entry fees are paid directly to Blue Lagoon when you arrive. Click here for their published rates. If you want to bring something for dinner, we'll have a cooler you can store it in.
A relaxing Saturday diving and hanging out under the stars in the piney woods. What more could you ask for?
