Join C&N Divers on Feb 12 th as we dive into the 8 th largest ocean in the world.

That’s right we are going to DISNEY and swim with many species of fish, rays, and sharks it would take you years and a huge sums of money to be able to swim along beside.

Normal DiveQuest price is $140 per person but as a special rate extended to C&N Divers you can do this awesome dive for only $120.

You will need to be at the Guest relations window at the Epcot gates by 5:45pm on Feb 12 th. You will need to bring only your bathing suit, mask, and C-card everything else is provided by Disney. After our dives we will be released into the Epcot park so we can watch the fireworks. You MUST SIGN UP for this trip through C&N Divers.

Thanks,
Shane

Is this something that might be repeated later this year??? Figures that my job is sending me to the West Coast on the 12th and if I could move my flight back to Monday you'd better believe I'd do it! Ever since I saw the Living Seas 2 yrs ago I wondered how one could be one of the divers I saw in the tank that day!

Thanks.

odiecho,

I will continue to setup dive trips here as long as divers want to join us. As some of the earlier members posted you can dive on your own and sometimes you can get the lower rates. I do not know what all you have to say to the reservations person to get the lower rates. I deal directly with the managers behind the scenes on all my reservations. I would love to have you join me on one of my trips and if you can give me a date of when you can go atleast one month in advance I will try my best to schedule a trip that will work for you as well myself. You can also check out my calendar http://www.cndivers.com/index.cfm?Calendar=true so you can see when I have some open weekends.

Thanks alot for your interest!!
Shane

OMG!!! Shane! This sounds like it's going to be a blast. I cant wait to hear the stories on this trip (crazy Conchs'). I've never been to Epcot before, is it like Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure? Are you in a cage or do you really dive? What all is in the tank? How big is it? Depth? tell me, tell me, tell me..... I'm extremely curious. Heck, I'm going to have to google it and take a look.

I dove the Living Seas in April of last year, and had a blast.

There have been some SB discussions of the Epcot dive before, and some have panned the dive, and some have panned the idea of the dive (without actually trying it).

It is an artificial environment. Yes, you are diving in an aquarium, essentially a big fishtank.

But it's a mind-blowing fishtank, with jillions (yes, jillions) of beautiful fish, sharks, and at least one huge turtle. Fun swim-throughs, plexiglas bubbles on the floor, and best of all, an authentic human exhibit, where people freely roam about behind a 6" glass wall, gawking at scuba divers.

I booked with the PADI discount, paid 120 something, got a T-shirt. A Cool T-shirt.

Next time I go to Epcot, I'll go again, probably do the snorkel thing with the kids.

Well I guess someone forgot to tell the CRO about the discount, because I was charged the standard $140.00 and I am PADI certified.

I did the dive December, and all things considered, it was an interesting experience, but not one I would want to do again. Starting with the So-not-DIR splits, then dealing with a group of 8 recently certified divers that were all in a hurry to be right behind the DM, a DM that was much in a hurry to take the group around the tank and into the diving bell, and the poor lighting conditions (spotty lighting), the dive was quite an over-rated experience. It's the second time I've had to pay to see sharks. The 1st time was in Nassau, and that experience was a lot more interesting than this one.

All things considered, 40 minutes underwater is far better than 40 hrs. on land, but that's the extent of my enjoyment of this dive.

I believe you have to be a PADI Diving Society Member to get the discount. I got the Disney Vacation Club discount when I went. What a great dive!

I just talked to one of the main people at the Living Seas and during our talk he mentioned they just added 4 more turtles. I believe 1 Green, 1 Loggerhead, 1 leather back, and I am not sure what the 4th one was. As for fishbowl diving, it is a tank be it a very large tank. the lighting conditions as another poster mentioned is spoty and dim in certain areas. This is all explained in the predive tour of the exhibit. The lighting effects are there to give the exhibit depth to the visiters viewing from the windows.

All in all I think it is an awsome dive at $120. You do not have to supply anything and you get refreshments and a shirt at the end of this 4 hour tour. The 45 min dive is just a portion of your entire experience. I tend to have fun at anything I do so this may have a little something to do with why I like going here so much.

I would love to do this dive but I don't think I will be in Florida then. How do I contact if I wanted to do this dive when I get there
