Dive Club Meeting, September 17th

Hello Divers!

The next Shark Bait Dive Club meeting is right around the corner.

When: Wednesday, September 17th

Where: Morrison Inn

Time: Dinner, Drinks and Social hour 6:00 - 7:00

Presentation: Starts at 7:00
Ed Sauer and Sandra Schroth are a husband & wife team who have been shooting
underwater and wildlife video for about 10 years. Sandra started diving in the 80’s and shot still photos in the early part of her diving experience. Ed had a video camera in his hands since his second dive trip in 1996. They now focus on educational programs and information videos.
Their video “Sharks! Why Should We Care?” has received 2 honorable mentions: One for conservation message, and one for biological information from the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula MT. It has also become part of the new World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) library in India.

[Shark Whisperer]

Meetings are usually the third Wednesday of the month. We meet at Morrison Inn in Morrison, however, depending on the number of people that RSVP for the meeting, location can change. We are a local club that is not affiliated with any dive shop. We promote and work with all dive shops in the area and are a group of people that get together once a month, setup presentations and talk diving. Our membership is around 150 strong from all over the area.

Our next meeting is tomorrow. We have a speaker talking about Cave Diving. We also have a website at SHARK BAIT DIVE CLUB!.
