So one of the big things emphasized in my OW class was pre dive planning. Not only so far as the actual dive planning but also dive equipment. So today I made up an equipment checklist for diving...the checklist is made up of dive equipment, and then travel specific stuff for me...feel free to update this with your own stuff, or give me feedback on what I am missing from my list so I can make some updates.

Just did a quick look-see, and I would include (if shore diving) a tarp/carpet sample to change on, and maybe have a seperate list for your save-a-dive kit. I'll see if I have a copy of my list(s) here at work.

Here's a copy of my predive checklist. You may copy\comment\harass it all you like.

You may want to add spare batteries, sun screen, computer (if you have one and it's not connected to your regs.), diver down flag and float, line reel.

And there's always more camping gear to include especially matches and a small hatchet.

Nice, now all we need to add is the camera gear list...........

Hey ShakaZulu - what's with the new avatar? Bring back the old ones. You're ticking me off ! Your avatars are the main reason I visit ScubaBoard.

Wow, did you list it out by yourself? It looks cool and the most comprehensive list that I have ever seen.

hoosier mine is crap compared to the one posted below it...

I edited it a little bit...here is my updated version

No, don't say in that way. Mine is like yours. There are always two versions, brief and comprehensive ones. Nobody can't tell which one is better because it is totally depending on your diving site and plan.

Edit: Your revision is much better than mine. I save it. ;)
