im looking at diving with one of two shops in ft lauderdale when i come down..one is the american dream 2 and pro dive..can anyone tell me anything about theses two shops,,thanks,,

Both great, different tho... AD2 is a large boat and although they are good at paying attention to the single diver or small group (dropping first, placing at good spots on the reef) they carry a lot of students. Pro dive might edge AD2 out for this reason.

Snuggle,

Both are very good operations. I've dived with both of them quite often. Pro Dive has a young crew and a large boat, 60 foot to be exact, but they can be crowed as their primary business is training not charters. American Dream is a husband and wife operation, they're very nice and the 40 foot boat they have is nearly brand new. They both leave out of the same inlet so the sites they visit are nearly the same. American Dream has a set schedual of sites that they do every week. Pro Dive only has a schedual of wreck or reef depending on the day of the week. They make the final desition only a few days before the dive. In other words you'll know they're doing a deep wreck next Thursday but you won't know which wreck they're doing until Monday.

Let me know when and where you'll be diving and maybe we can meet up.
