Dive Buddy wanted Lake Travis

I'm not sure if this is the correct location for this request. Please inform if it isn't.

I am newly certified in OW. I would like to go diving this weekend with an experienced diver. Hopefully someone who doesn’t mind looking after novice just to ensure my safety. I am waiting on my regs and dive computer. Both of which are suppose to be in tomorrow. I have my own BCD and other gear but will be renting tanks from Dive World. I haven’t purchased some of the safety items like dive flags/buoys, lights and other accessories like that. I will get those items pretty soon though.

If anyone can go for a couple of dives, please let me know. -Jason

Hey thanks Chris. I joined the FB group. I will looking at the boat service tomorrow. Hopefully I will get a dive or two in on Saturday with someone but at the very least try to get on the boat for Sunday.

The water is really warm right now. As the winter comes it gets colder but the vis gets better.

I can't make it this weekend but I'm definitely interested in getting wet some other weekend.

Thanks for the add. I am going to pick up my regulator and bcd at Dive World today. I have never been in the water with this gear so I want to try it all in the pool today before I go jump off into the lake . I think Monday will be good.
I need to figure out my weighting too.
