Hello~
New to this forum. I am looking to make new dive friends in or near Charlotte, NC. Please feel free to contact me!

Welcome to the board from Raleigh.

Hi Ryan~
Thanks for the response. I am not sure what PM means!
I was certified thru Paradise Island diveres back in Oct, have been diving in Bonaire, and I am getting ready to go to Florida in May. I currently only have 22 dives, but I would love to meet up with and/or plan excursions with other local divers.
Any dive groups or clubs you can give me info on locally would be great.
Thanks~
Tammy

Tammy, we have groups going out for wreck dives constantly. In Charlotte, most people practice at Lake Norman quarry. You need to be a member but a member can take you as a guest if you want to check it out (I'd be happy to). It's still very cold there, so unless you have a thick wetsuit or a drysuit I would wait a couple of months until the thermocline comes back. I really don't know about dive clubs in the area. Most of my diving is technical and we have a small group that dives together, but people are always putting up trips on NCDivers.com. That's probably your best source for local diving.
