...at least that's what I have and it gets the job done.
It's not perfect, it's not a speed demon, it has it's faults and weaknesses but...it's wide, heavy, stable, economical, safe, hauls a load of gear and divers, keeps me out of the weather (sun, heat, cold, rain, wind).
All boats are tradeoffs. Pick one that's well made and has "most" of the features that you are looking for.
The softness in the boating market now should allow you to get in cheaper than ever before. I don't know what your experience is but be sure to do the math for maintenance, upgrades, and operating costs. Its way more than many people think, even for a small boat.
Roll control is the way to go for tank holders!
