Here is a rare opportunity to dive in Barton Springs pool, for anyone in the Austin area. They are in the process of cleaning the pool and need some help removing rocks from the bottom. Its not glorious work by any means, but it is a fun dive. BOgrady helped them last Saturday and really enjoyed it.
To make sure they don't get swamped (pardon the pun) with eager volunteers, you need to sign up at Oak Hill Scuba. We will compile the list and let them know who to expect. If we get enopugh people, we may break it into shifts. The 1st group will go in about 10:30 and the 2nd group will go in about 1:00. Plan on a 1 tank dive in water about 65 degrees. Its open to all vertified divers, but the more experience the better.
