RavenC-I tested the XS in the Diva and it fit perfectly. The good thing about the Diva is that it has several different adjustments just for the cummerbund. But you are significantly smaller than me (by some 20 pounds) and I thought I was small! I expect that it would be somewhat challenging to get things snug.

I did like the Diva, but I was really looking for something that would be as close to wearing nothing as possible (I travel alot as well as wear a lot of neoprene so something smaller and more streamlined is nice). I remember my arms bumping into and rubbing on the front part of the BC and with the built-in bra-type harness you definately feel it, but you also feel very secure. I don't personally need that to feel secure but I have spoken with several people who do. The ladyhawk has nothing up front!

As to the Diva v. the Libra-I didn't like the zipper up the front. Way overkill for me, but again I was looking for less not more. GOOD LUCK and if I were you I would get the one that fits the best and not be as concerned with individual features.:)

Hello,
I'm new here and have been browsing your various BC topics. I have been certified for a long time but am just getting a chance to use it and have been diving with my sister-in-laws BC which is way too big for me. I have narrowed my search down and it includes the 3 BC's you mention. Although I'm not sure what you mean by a zipper in the Seaquest Libra, the only zipper I found was the one on the drop pocket, otherwise it seems as open as the LadyHawk. I liked the openness of the Libra (didn't get to try a LadyHawk in small), but I don't know if I will want or need pockets and other extra's the Diva LX has. Most of my diving is probably going to be cold/temperate-southern CA with hopefully trips somewhere warm occasionally. The other BC that was comfortable was the Zeagle Escape, it's back inflate but has some pockets without being a full jacket. I'm so confused!

Welcome to my world! So many choices...

As to the question of pockets. Everyone that I have talked to said that if you get used to having minimal pockets you simply learn to attach things onto your BC. I don't take stuff from the ocean so I don't need a place to put my "finds", therefore unless I find a piece of trash to haul out I don't need them for that. I clip my light to my BC because I use it ALL the time and would not want to go rumaging through my pockets for it.

My only real advice is to try them in the water. Usually they will only let you go in a pool but even that tells you a lot.

I loved the way the Ladyhawk felt or rather "didn't" feel.

Again, as a friend of mine wisely said, "Ultimately this decision is not going to change the course of civilization" so if for some bizarre reason you make a choice that you later decide was wrong, sell it and get the other one. I'm very happy with mine though for what it's worth!

Good luck and have fun with it!:)

Thanks for your input. I just got back from trying them on again, unfortunately they didn't have a small LadyHawk in stock. Given the $110 difference for the Diva LX, I'm leaning more towards the Libra or LadyHawk. The woman at the store uses a LadyHawk and we hung them up side by side and they are pretty much the same with minor differences. Now I guess I just have to decide which differences are important. Like you said it won't change the course of civilization.
:)
