I have a Seaquest Diva LX and am happy with it except I can't seem to dump air from the shoulder or back dump valves. I have no problem dumping air from the inflator hose, but since I always have to use this it's a bit of a pain and I usually get a lot of water in my BC by the time my dives are done. Is there some sort of technique that I'm missing for dumping air in a back inflate BC, or just a problem with the dump valves. I have a hard time imagining that both of them would be malfunctioning. Help, I just wanna use my valves!

I, too, have a Seaquest Diva LX.
Never had any trouble dumping from either valve.
And I do like having 2 valves (top of front shoulder and lower backside) to dump from.
Just wanted you to know my experience.

Good luck with finding out what the problem is with your dump valves.
Sincerely,
Trish the Fish

I've had two diva's in the past five years and my new one has a very hard to pull rear dump valve when I'm inverted. My first Diva didn't have any problems with the valves.

I would unscrew both dump valves, to get a visual idea if they are dumping correctly or are sticking. Easy to unscrew and then just rescrew. When reinstalling make sure that the threads are aligned and tighten. I take my dump valves off all the time to rinse out the bc bladder.
