Could anyone recommend a dive operator that does Discover Scuba on the morning boat?

I cantacted two dive shops but they said they only do it in the afternoon.

Thanks for the suggestions.

That’s probably because morning boats are generally fuller and go to deeper sites, and not suitable for discover scuba divers.

What’s the reason you want to do this on a morning boat? Is it so an experienced diver can do his dive, while a companion could do a discover scuba?

Thanks for the heads-up. I was hoping to try scuba in the morning then have time to spend with the family afterwards.

I did not think about the depth as I've never tried scuba before. I want to try it to see if it's worth it to get certified.

Discover Scuba if following standards must first be conducted from shallow water where the student can stand up. Once skills have been completed in shallow water, an open water dive to a maximum Of 40 ft with an instructor or qualified DM.

We conduct the Discover course as a beach dive, and then upon successful
Completion can take a discover student on the boat.

I'm glad you clarified that. In that case, I do have a recommendation for you. You can go to Chankanaab Park for a discover scuba in the morning. It's a great place to do discover scuba because it is from shore, so not very deep, but there are still some nice things to see. The shops there do discover scubas every day, so they're very good with beginners. I did it there many years ago before being certified and still go there occasionally when I want to just lie around on the beach and do a very easy shore dive. My recommendation is the shop El Clavado and the owner Gilmer Helguera. If it wasn't for him, I would not have been a scuba diver. You can message him here via facebook: Gilmer F. Helguera

An instructor who did a previous discover scuba with me (from a shop downtown) scared the hell out of me.
