Discounts or coupons for Xcaret and Xel-Ha parks??? Help...

Headed to Playa for the 5th - 12th of April and best rates I could get online was $1,195 USD for 5 adults 1 infant for one day at Xcaret and one day at Xel-Ha. Price included transportation, food (limited) drinks and all access to park(s) from open to close.

I guess that's not to bad but I know I can do better with someone who's in the know.

rent a car for a few days, drive to the parks, pay at the gate for admission, load up a cooler or buy your own food and drinks. Or book through the hotel salesperson when you get there.
